Edward Elgar has been at the forefront of economics publishing for over twenty years. We have a distinguished, international economics list including research monographs, upper-level textbooks and reference collections. We publish in all areas of economics including (but not confined to) finance, money and banking, industrial and labour economics, regional economics, regulation, innovation and technology, heterodox economics, public sector economics, international studies, and law and economics.

Our prestigious original reference works include Handbooks and Companions which provide state-of the art overviews of pertinent topics, and which can be used as both research tools and learning resources. These are complemented by our extensive Research Collections which gather together the seminal published articles on a particular theme for ease of use and reference. Among our authors we are proud to cite several Nobel Laureates including Oliver E. Williamson and Elinor Ostrom.
