Microsoft on Trial
| The documents in this webpage represent a selection of the major disputes that involved Microsoft on both sides of the Atlantic and provide a useful companion to the book. As noted in the book's preface, the reader should be aware that with the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon on 1st December 2009, the numbering of the provisions of the now Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU, previously European Community Treat or EC Treaty or Treaty of Rome) has changed. The former Articles 81 and 82 EC have become Articles 101 and 102 TFEU. Similarly, the names of the two main European Courts have changed (the Court of First Instance is now the General Court, while the European Court of Justice becomes the Court of Justice of the European Union). The large majority of the documents are publicly available and have been edited by Luca Rubini before being uploaded to this web-page. The EC documents are used according to the copyright notice/legal notice of EUR-Lex Access to the European Law (© European Union, http://eur-lex.europa.eu/). The reader should further note that only European Union legislation printed in the paper edition of the Official Journal of the European Union is deemed authentic. Use of these documents is consented only for personal and for educational purposes by acknowledging the relevant source.
